Great news! Ruthanne, my friend and coworker (also the same person who taught the technology class that I took that I had to create this blog for!) has been in the process of adopting a little boy nicknamed "Bear" from Ethiopia. Ruthanne's first son, Andrew, was adopted from Guatemala a little over two years ago and he is a doll, let me tell you. Anyway, the adoption process is long and complicated and one of the major hurdles to clear is the court date in Ethiopia (Ruthanne did not have to go there for that). There are lots of details that have to come together in order to pass court and so I am thrilled to report that Ruthanne passed today!
