Abbie turned 5 on Friday, August 12th. Last week, Jack, Sally and I took Abbie and Nina to the bakery so that Abbie could pick out her birthday cake. At the end of this post, there is a video of her telling the clerk how to spell her name. Precious.
We celebrated Abbie's birthday yesterday with a party at Jenny and Jay's. The whole family was there. Both Matt and Julie were able to come, too.Abbie loved being the center of attention and opening up presents and in general, the whole birthday production. Nina, being 2 1/2, wanted in on the action too and Abbie was kind enough to share with her. The girls are at such great ages. They entertain us no matter what they do!
