Saturday, October 22nd was the wedding date for our buddy, JD and his bride, Quillen. JD and Wayne have been friends since first grade and Wayne was asked to be a groomsman in the wedding. JD is special to our family for many reasons, not the least of which is he is a Marine who served a tour of duty in Afghanistan. In addition, I will never, ever forget that Jordan, JD's dad, flew JD home from college when Dane died so that JD could be with Wayne and attend Dane's services. That meant so much to us all.
JD and Quillen met at Denison University in Granville, OH and so that was where they had the wedding. They were married in the church where JD became Catholic. Jack was super disappointed that he could not attend the wedding; he had a speaking engagement booked in Arizona on the morning of October 23rd and there was no way to do both. We missed him, but carried on. Boy did we carry on.
Here are a few pictures from the day. And this whole post started out with a video of Wayne, the dancing machine; not because it's the most important part of the day...only because that's how it loaded on the blog and I can't seem to change that!
