Happy birthday, Abbie!

Our little sweetheart turned seven today. Arne and Beth had her birthday party on Saturday with both sides of the family. Abbie was the gracious little guest of honor, making sure to greet everyone and to thank everyone for their gifts. This girl has awesome social skills.
Jack and Sally have a tradition that started many years ago. Every year on her birthday, Jack makes Sally a crown out of tin foil with a scepter to match. A few weeks ago when the girls were here, Abbie found the birthday crown and scepter that Jack made for Sally's birthday this year. Abbie was fascinated by it and Jack promised to make one for her on her birthday. And he did, at her party. Abbie sat and watched every move as he made the crown and was thrilled with the results.
I love that another tradition continues!
Jenny has often said how fortunate Abbie and Nina are to have many adults that love and enjoy them so much. And we are all blessed to have those little sweeties in our lives.
