We just finished dinner. I made one of Jack's favorite recipes from his childhood, corn and meat casserole. Jack's mom gave the recipe to me many years ago and I love to make it on a snowy cold winter night. When Marie was cleaning out cabinets a few years ago, she gave me the special red, square covered casserole dish that she used to make this meal in.
Marie was definitely on our hearts and minds tonight.
