Sally's good friend/soulmate Breezy got married yesterday. Sally was a bridesmaid and Jack and I were thrilled to be invited to the wedding. We love Breezy for many reasons, not the least of which is that she was a true friend to Sally when they were studying abroad. Sally wrote a beautiful tribute to Breezy on Facebook/Instagram yesterday, trying to capture in words what a great friend Breezy has been to her. And wouldn't you know it? Breezy married an equally wonderful, kind, funny and caring guy. His name is Matt and we have loved him from the minute we met him.

There were many sweet and tender moments at the wedding, but one that really touched me was the blessing of the meal. It was a recording of Matt's father saying the blessing. He had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and someone had the foresight to record him saying the prayer. It was touching and sweet and profound.
The wedding was a great chance to catch up with old friends. Two of Breezy's college roommates, twin sisters Maggie and Katie, were happy to see their friend Jack from Dad's Weekends at Illinois. #celebrity
