I finally took the plunge!

In order to fulfill my continuing education requirement at work, I signed up to take a learning strand called "Creative Technology in the Classroom". I knew it would be great because it is being taught by my friend and coworker, Ruthanne. One of the activities we are doing is learning how to blog and this blog is an assignment. I am so excited! I have been talking about doing a blog since my daughter Sally did one while studying abroad last semester. Now I have a reason to do it! And I know I will learn alot since Ruthanne is a champion blogger and in fact her blog was the first one I ever read. I love the blog world and have "met" some really cool people through it. I am excited to be a part of it.
