Lately I have just been amazed by technology. Amazed that I can buy a song for 99 cents on my iphone or computer and have it available to listen to in less than 3 minutes. Amazed that I can keep track of a wide variety of friends and family via facebook with just a few clicks of a mouse. Amazed that I can put together a power point presentation with video clips and photos and show it on an LCD projector for a group of speech-language path0logists. Amazed by how tech savvy the 3, 4, and 5 year olds I work with are. Amazed that I can use a digital voice recorder to record speech samples of my students, then make a CD of it. Amazed by all that and more. And I think of my dad who worked for IBM for most of his career and worked with computers his whole life and I wish he was around to see how much technology has progressed since he left us in 1997. I know he would be tickled to see his family using and benefiting from technology... especially Marmar!
