We had a great time at Jenny and Jay's last night. As always, the stars of the night were Abbie and Nina. They are always so entertaining! Sue and Marmar brought some presents from them and Karen. The girls loved everything, especially the baby dolls. It was sweet to see how nuturing they were. Wayne was not able to come at the last minute due to a work problem that popped up. We are not used to having him in town for Easter anyway, so that was fine! One of the highlights of the evening was watching Jack read books to the girls. They are the perfect audience for him!"Please, Jack, read us another story!" We all got a kick out of Abbie's snake sound :)
It was such a fun night.

It was wonderful to wake up this Easter morning to some nice weather and some sunshine! Jack and I took a walk into town and stopped in Starbucks, where we ran into Chuck and Teri. In keeping with our very social Easter weekend, they joined us for a cup of coffee and it was delightful to spend an unexpected half an hour with dear friends. Later on in the morning we went to mass and then headed to Jack's folks' neighborhood for dinner. It was great to have almost the whole family together, including most of the kids' significant others. The only ones missing were Paul (who lives in Florida) and Matt, Sally's boyfriend. Dinner was delicious and then we went back to Grandma and Bucky's for a while.
