Jack and I had an awesome time last night. We went over to Mark and Cathy's for some pizza and salad. Christy and Steve came too, though Steve had to leave around 8. We had not seen Cathy and Mark for a few months and so it was great to catch up with them. So relaxing and enjoyable. After we had finished dinner, Jack and I each received a text from Sally asking if we thought it was okay if she and Matt stopped by to say hi to everyone. Both of my kids love Mark and Cathy. Our gracious hosts said it was fine and even held dessert for them. And my goodness, what a dessert it was! Homemade ice cream and Bananas Foster. So good. And the great news is that we get to spend the evening with all of them again tonight!
