I don't have a whole lot new to report, just a few pictures I wanted to share. The first picture is of Kjell and me at his baseball game last Sunday. I heard he was playing at a field about 20 minutes away from our house, so I got to watch him play a couple of innings. Kjell plays in a league for guys who just want to play for the love of the game. It is fun to watch. Kjell is an awesome first baseman and quite the hitter as well.
The next picture is of my classroom. I have been working in there this past week, getting ready for the kids. We have registration and meet&greet on Wednesday and Thursday. I start with the Friday kids this week, too.
I just love the fresh start of the new school year. I put that as my facebook status last week and I think some people thought I was being sarcastic. I wasn't. I love the whole new beginning aspect. I do still find it exciting even after all of these years. I am happy for Sally that she will be able to experience that, too. Her students start on Wednesday. So awesome!
