Catching up on Sheilah's wedding

I thought I had better catch you up with our time at Sheilah and Kevin's wedding. It was a beautiful day, sandwiched in between many stormy, not so great days, and I was happy for them to have a gorgeous day. The story behind the mobile post of me with Sheilah's veil is that Jack, Sally and I were walking up to the church about 10 minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to begin. Sheilah's oldest sister, Tammy (one of the matrons of honor), pulled up in her car, stopped in the middle of the street and called out, "Would you guys do me a favor?" Of course we said yes, and then she asked us to take Sheilah's veil to the bride's room in the church. LOVED that! It is so something that I can relate to and it made me love that family even more! The father of the bride is Jack's Uncle Jack. Jack and Rosemary have four daughters, all outstanding women. I have always appreciated how close these girls are to each other and to their parents. All of the sisters' kids who could walk ( that left out Erin's son Keenan who is about 7 months old) were the ring bearers and flower girls. So cute. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fun. We had the whole family there, including significant others, Julie and Matt and Rick (Brendan's girlfriend, Megan, was out of town).
This is a picture of Grandma and Brendan
Here's Bucky and Sally
The bride and groom and the first cousins once removed (thank you, Grandma, for helping me keep that stuff straight!) minus Brendan who had just left. Isn't Sheilah beautiful?

We also had to get a picture of Wayne, Julie, Sally and Matt with Erin, sister of the bride. Erin was Wayne's babysitter from the time he was 2 1/2 and Sally's babysitter from the day she was born. Erin spent most Saturday nights with my kids from 1987 til 1995ish. Erin was an outstanding influence on my kids and we always felt so good leaving them in her care. She is a social worker and a new mom to Keenan. Wayne and Sally have always loved Erin and will forever!
I will close (or try to close! sometimes the videos don't load correctly) with a darling video of the dad-daughter dance.
