In 1976, I went on a spring break trip to Florida with four of my sorority sisters. One night we came across a machine that, for 25 cents, would give you a description of your ideal love mate. We each put a quarter in and each got a different card with a different type of guy. Being extremely single at the point in my life, I just laughed, but saved the card.
Flash forward to May 1982. My brother Tom introduced me to this guy named Jack. Our first date was July 3rd, we got engaged on December 22nd and we got married on July 30, 1983.
I recently ran across that Ideal Lovemate card from 37 years ago. Check out the description. It fits Jack to a T!
