Recovering

It's been 8 days now and Jack and I think we are starting to get back to normal. A little bit, anyway. A daughter's wedding takes a lot out of a person! I was glad that I did not have to work much this week. I spent lots of time rehashing the wedding...on Monday at lunch with my sisters, Beth and the flower girls; on Tuesday at lunch with Cath and Christy (we also celebrated Cath's birthday a bit late); on Wednesday with some of my coworkers in the main office;  on Thursday with my friends from the Birthday Club while up in Grand Beach (only 1/2 the girls were invited to the wedding, but everyone understood that it was due to the smaller venue), and on Friday over dinner with Teri (celebrating her birthday as well) and Chuck.
Hmmmm, now that I lay it all out, maybe that is why I am still recovering. Too much rehashing! But it has been so fun to relive it all. We have enjoyed the pictures that people have put up on Facebook. The photographer, Matt Kuehl, posted a few sneak peeks and they are marvelous! One is an absolute prizewinner as it is Jack's reaction to seeing Sally for the first time. I cannot wait til the others are up on his website.
Jack and I slept until 9 am today and just now got out of our pajamas and ventured out to Whole Foods to get some fruits and vegetables. We are both feeling the need to get toxins out of our bodies.
We facetimed (video chatted) with Sally earlier today and she was hanging in the hotel room in Barcelona while Matt explored the city a bit by himself. Sally is not feeling well. She has a cough and fever and chills and realized what she needed most was to rest up. Rest is the best medicine.
Speaking of which, it is time for another nap. I will leave you with a few pictures, these courtesy of Breezy's mom, Carol.
